Flamingo Land are really splashing the cash this year. They are sponsoring a HUGE prime time show on ITV. I have just seen the advert for it and they are sponsoring..... PRIMEVAL!!!

They are finally getting the hang of promotional advertising. We just need them to embrace the interwebs, and realise the potential of websites and social networking. Then they can truly claim to belong to last decade, and then move into this one. :P

I'm sure I read on Twitter that they were sponsoring The Jeremy Kyle Show too.

Unable to confirm though as I don't watch that trash.

I also saw an advert for flamingo land in one of the big newspapers last week - Daily Mail or something along those lines.

There was a full page advert (basically the front cover of the holiday brochure) in The Sun.

Merseytravel buses here in Liverpool currently have huge side adverts for flamingoland. About one in 15 buses has it.

They really have spent a lot of money on ad's this year. Here in the South it was almost unheard of in the GP - but that's starting to change this year :)

I looking around the internet, it seems that Flamingo Land sponsors Jeremy Kyle but only in some regions but not all. Apparently since March.

The adverts being used for sponsoring Primeval are all new with new voiceover and a new design.

They are also sponsoring the new show You Cannot be Serious. A lot of advertising and sponsoring this year. They will have to be careful it isnt too much for them, it is pretty expensive. However, with newspapers and reports claiming next year is essential and part of a big investment, could part of the deal be to have a new theme park series?

They're capitalising on the climate if you ask me. Nobody wants to spend thousands on marketing at the moment, so the TV companies can't force inflated prices as there isn't such demand.

Same with football, they have regular advertising hoardings at most clubs in Yorkshire now, and any high profile game on tele in the North-East/Yorkshire that comes up, they advertise on them through sport5 advertising agency.

They also sponsor the UV count/forecast on channel 5, that's on immediately after the weather bulletins.
