I think they need as mentioned by someone up the the page a ride that goes upside down at height. Mumbo JUmbo is good and Kumali but they need a more extreme coaster and maybe one that has more length to it. I mean kumali lasts 15 seconds from the top and Mumbo Jumbo is quite similar as well. Thats just my opinion but they definately need something more extreme and longer lasting.

And I do like The Fabbri Booster in a way but queuing is annoying!!!

there is a large amount of space to the right of pterodactyl and with a chance that junior driving school going gives u loads of room for a dinosaur themed ride with some life size dinosaur around that area

I like to see something big and extreme that sidesteps the height restrictions. Similar to oblivion. Drop into the ground or a partial underground coaster. Something with a bit of edge and hopefully unique. Maybe it could be primeval themed with the station near pterodactyl but it could leap out of the groud for some part of the track at corky's site. Could be amazing.

Yeah I agree Terry it sounds good, something big needs to stand out for them but I doubt it unfortunately :(

Maybe a B&M Dive Machiene, but the new vein simlair to Busch Garden's SheiKra. Like Oblivion's start with the 2nd half of Sheikra!

With Primeval/Dinosaur theming

Yeah - big climb.... drop down into a burrow and fly underground with velociraptor jumping at you as you pass through their underground nesting site before flying out of a cave and down into the water - huge splashes and race through animatronic dinosaurs as you return to the station.

We can dream :blah

Hmmm...
Out of all the possibilities, I think another Flat Ride is the most likely next step for Flamingo Land.
But the Question is which Flatride would people like to see?
My Personal favourites are...
1) Sky Swat
2) Screamin' Swing
3) KMG Afterburner
4) Mondial Top Spin
5) A Sledgehammer (Cedar Fair) Type Ride

After my situation on Eagles Claw at Lightwater Valley it is a resounding NO to KMG Afterburner for me but all the others are good suggestions and possibilities.

The next investment will be on the old Corkscrew site. On the map it says 'UNMISSABLE NEW EXPERIENCE - Coming Soon - Watch our website for details. So I dont think we'll be seeing any new attraction added near Pterodactyl until 2014. I cant see the park getting a KMG Afterburner because the park already has flip flop. I wud like to see something like Samurai at thorpe at flamingo land. It would fit nicely in Metropolis or The Lost Kingdom.

Woo-die! Woo-die! Woo-die!

The UK needs a modern woodie at least, we lag so far behind the rest of the world. Long live woodies, rust in pieces all Gerstlauer rides!!

Lightwater?

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Troy at Toverland. For €6.5mill that is an absolute steal for a beast of a ride! Something like that would be more than perfect.

Yeah, the parks called Lightwater Valley. The name of the ride escapes me though.

Will get to experience that in exactly one week!

Trolololol.

I don't want a woodie for FL simply because of the long term maintenance required to keep them smooth, which they can't really seem to manage even with modern steel coasters. I like the look of the Vekoma Stingray coasters, they seem to give a decent ride too despite having woeful capacity. I heard this might be what they're thinking of anyway!

Lightwater doesn't have a woodie lol

You really don't have a clue about modern woodies do you? They are piece of cake to keep smooth you're thinking of the old age woodies they're a totally different breed.

Which coasters at FL are rough because all of them are as smooth as they opened a few weeks back!
